Relaxing at Brestovačko lake and Bublička beach near Radan mountain

I can definitely recommend Brestovačko Lake and the Bublička beach near the village of Bublica. It’s a great little spot for a summer swim, especially if you’re looking to relax somewhere that’s not packed with people. There are two ways to reach the beach,one is over the dam and then down a gravel road that still doesn’t show up on most maps, and the other is through the village itself The beach has been fixed up nicely, with fine gravel that goes a few meters into the water, so it’s easy on the feet and there’s no mud, which is a huge plus. The water was really warm when I visited, not crystal clear, but definitely good enough for a long, chill swim. The whole area around the lake is surrounded by peaceful nature, with the hills of Radan Mountain rising not far off in the distance. It feels calm and kind of tucked away. All in all, it’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress, but ends up being exactly what you need.
