Vlasina lake - Fresh air, cold springs, and alpine peace

This lake is on my endless list of places I must see, and it finally happened. During the few days I spent at the lake, I realized why it's so popular and why it ended up on my list in the first place. The gentle nature, many beaches around the lake, and the diverse plant life, where birches and conifers can be seen almost everywhere, along with the freshness of the air, since the lake is located at around 1,230m, make this place truly unique in every sense. It's ideal for a summer getaway, as the temperatures here are about 10 degrees lower. In summer, there are also small boats that can take you for a ride around the lake, and believe me, it was pure enjoyment to ride them, a short tour lasts about 30 minutes. I also recommend hiking to the peak of Veliki Čemernik, because during the climb, you get a full view of the lake as if in the palm of your hand. You'll be surrounded by blueberries and wild strawberries, and at the end of the trail awaits the Orlovac spring, which offers ice-cold, drinkable water.
