Latin church near Niš - Church of Holy Trinity of Rusalia

Since the XI century, this church has stood still on this ground. Latin church (or even know as Church of Holy Trinity of Rusalia) is one of the oldest in Serbia, it's full of history, and if it could talk I bet this church could tell lots of stories. The church even took its part in one of the most important battles in this area, the Battle of Cegar, as fighters from this battle took communion in it. I got here on my bike and spent around 30 minutes enjoying the view of Dry mountain and surroundings, and learning about its history from one of the signs placed near the church. The church is not that far from Niš, about 10 km from the city center, so if you're around, make sure to pay a visit.
