Banja Vidrište and Kula Železnik near Niš

Banja Vidrište is a peaceful little spot near Niš, known for its warm thermal spring that locals believe has healing properties. It’s a quiet place with a few wooden benches, some shade from the trees, and just enough space to sit back, dip your feet in the water, and enjoy the calm. Not far from the spa, you’ll find the remains of Kula Železnik, a medieval stone fortress built in the 14th century with parts of the stone walls still standing. Though mostly in ruins now, it adds a cool historic touch to the area and makes for a nice short walk if you’re up for a bit of exploring.
